"For even cheaper you can get Numbuzin's number three skin softening serum, rather than a traditional essence this is like a slightly thicker serum with the added benefits of goat milk and squalane, nicely hydrating without being too thick."

"This may not be my very first recommendation if you need really light skincare that doesn't offer any moisture, but I do think that oily types still do enjoy this serum. It's not going to be like you're using it in the first week and your hyperpigmentation looks better. You're going to be like, is this working? It's slow working. I wouldn't be my number one right up there with the big brightening ingredients like high percentages of niacinamide, tranexamic acid, arbutin, or vitamin C. But if you have very sensitive skin and you can't use arbutin or vitamin C or high percentages of niacinamide or tranexamic acid but you still need to work on some of that discoloration and hyperpigmentation, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this. The brightening is there, it just takes long for it to show itself. It's the type of serum where you're like, I don't know if this is working, you stop using it and you're like, oh, my skin's starting to look dull again, the hyperpigmentation is really not fading at the rate that it was before. This serum definitely was working for me, I just didn't quite realize it at the time."
