What they liked

  • Helps with hyperpigmentation
  • Concentrated formula, easy to apply

What they flagged

  • Contains alcohol
  • More product waste than toner or serum
  • Less impressive ingredients than the serum version

What the gurus are saying

These pads deliver visible hydration and help keep breakouts and congestion down, with particular strength for hyperpigmentation when left on the skin for ten minutes. The trade-off is that pad format means more product waste than a serum or toner would, and the ingredient profile doesn't match Numbuzin's serum version, so those focused purely on efficacy may prefer the liquid form instead. One guru has loved them for years; another finds pads wasteful and prefers mist formats.

"They also do the Vitamin NMI Concentrated Pads in that same line, toner pads you dab onto the skin. They're super concentrated, and I love that they come in pad form since it mixes things up from applying serum after serum. Because they contain glutathione, you can stick a pad onto an area of hyperpigmentation, leave it on for ten minutes, then wipe the rest across the face, and that ten minute contact gives you elevated results I don't think you can get from a serum. This is a real stunning product and I don't think I've ever seen anything else like it on the market."

Best KOREAN SKINCARE FOR HYPERPIGMENTATION - Fade Dark Spots Fast
"The pads are wonderful if you want a more intensive treatment. It's packed full of all the things you'd expect from tranexamic acid to you've got a great blend of different vitamin C's in here. Got some peptides to boost radiance. It's just a one-stop shop. And yeah, I absolutely absolutely love it. It's been going strong in my routine for at least 4 years now, and I don't think I'll be skipping it anytime soon."
ULTIMATE KOREAN SKINCARE - Next Level K-Skincare
"I love the fact that often with Korean skincare brands they'll bring out the same formulation, the same great blend of ingredients but in multiple different versions. Take for example the Numbuzin 5+ Vitamin concentrate range you've got a serum, you've got a toner, you've also got some pads which I absolutely love. I haven't got them on me at the moment but I absolutely love them and they've got very similar ingredient profiles across the three. This is great because the ingredients in here are phenomenal."
BEST SERUMS 2023 - Multi-Active Face Serums (10/10 Anti-Aging Skincare)
"Numbuzin do two forms of this, and this is the pad form so it comes in packs of 60 easy to apply pads. Now I'm not usually the biggest fan of this style skincare I think it can be quite wasteful, but Numbuzin explain that actually what you can do is apply these pads directly to the skin, leave them on for like 10, 15 minutes and you'll just get a real concentrated dose of all the actives in here to a specific area. So if you're somebody that has patches of pigmentation, say on the cheeks or you might have it on the forehead, then this would be my preferred method because you could just leave that patch on, go about your business, brush your teeth, do all of that, and then when you come off it's just going to give you like a hyper concentrated dose of the actives. And for everyone else that wants to just treat the whole face then I think the serum will be slightly easier, but that flexibility I think is why I absolutely love both of these. They are a little bit tricky to get your hands on, they're rolling out the sale of this globally so at the moment some countries it's easier to get than others, so shop around."
Greatest KOREAN SKINCARE BRAND 2026 - This Hands Down Changed My Skin
"These pads are amazing for hyperpigmentation. You can either use them just as a wipe on toner in pad form or you can actually stick them to the areas where you have hyperpigmentation for a more intensive treatment. I'm going through a bit of a breakout on my forehead at the moment, and whilst the breakout has subsided, some of the hyperpigmentation returns. I've been sticking one of these onto my forehead every night, and it definitely helps fade it and just keep everything in check."

"I finished off the Numbuzin vitamin niacinamide concentrated pad, the 5 plus. I don't think I'll repurchase this, the pads are just never my personal favorite, I am team mist."

Numbuzin: 2 Month Results of the NEW Releases!
"These are the Vitamin Niacinamide Concentrate Pads. I have liked using these, taking three of them and using two on my cheeks and one on my forehead since they're big and cover a lot of surface area. As far as ingredients this is not as impressive as the vitamin five serum, which is why I would recommend the serum over this. I don't think this is bad, it does have a little bit of alcohol, which is fine for me as long as I can't smell it, and this was okay, but it's just not my personal favorite category since I feel like I'm going through more product waste with pads than I would with a toner or serum."
Skincare EMPTIES (& products that expired!!): Playing Favorites

"It's not going to help with pigmentation. And considering that is the claim of this thing, right? It's brightening antioxidant. It's not. It's going to dull your skin. This product should be called how to dull your skin as quickly as possible. Plus irritation from the actual exfoliating daily with a pad, which we should never be doing. So, for me, this is a hard hard no."

"I did actually use them on my chest and on my back because I do break out there and I just get hyperpigmentation if there's inflammation. I was really pleasantly surprised with the amount of hydration that these deliver to this skin. I really liked the combination of the exfoliants and the brighteners. I really feel like this helped to keep the breakouts and the congestion down just by the LHA and pH alone, but then all of those brightening ingredients really did help to address some hyperpigmentation that I had from some previous congestion that other products hadn't really targeted right. I was getting a lot of exfoliation but I wasn't getting the brightening, so I love the combination here. I'm always looking for multiple benefits, and if you're stuck in that cycle of breakouts and hyperpigmentation and dull looking skin, I think it's really important to streamline your routine. I personally think the formulation and the delivery mechanism of this particular product I don't think makes it well suited for treating sun damage. If you can only get one product and you really want to work on sun damage, freckles, melasma, things like that, this is not it."
