What the gurus are saying

One guru found the Pro Laser delivers visible results on fine lines and neck texture in as little as 20 days, with five heat settings, minimal discomfort, and no known interactions with tretinoin or other actives, making it practical for darker skin tones. However, another expert saw maintenance only in some areas over 60 days and expressed concern about heat-related inflammation, noting deeper lines may need longer trials. A third reviewer flagged a product defect during testing and raised questions about customer service and distribution reliability, cautioning that devices in this price range warrant careful consideration before purchase.

"I have the Nira Pro, but it's not on my calendar because I'm really backing away from heat centric products. My husband started using it for a long time and it had great results for him, but then he saw that the fat around my eyes got dissolved from an IPL treatment I had in the office for dry eyes, and we both kind of backed away from intense heat products at home, because you do run the risk of it being worse than when you started."

"I loved using this because you could cover so much more surface area so what would take me, I could just go and move around so much faster. The other beauty is you don't have to use the button, so it would just be automatic contact. You don't have to hold this down as much, but I didn't have a problem with that and it didn't hurt even on the highest level. It seems to have a new fan built into it. This has no pain, no pain. So for me this went to the side and I used this exclusively. I was able to do the whole area, the marionette lines, I did my jawline and I also did my chin area. This for me was just a winner because I could do so much more with this, so much faster. I used this one for about a hundred days, from March 23rd to July 3rd every single day, that is more than a hundred days, so that's way past the 90 days that they said I should be able to see results."

"The Pro Laser, this is really the one that I love using the most because I get in the most coverage. I can do my whole neck in 10 minutes with this and it really gave me good results on my neck. I can do my whole face with it in 10 minutes and it really has given me good results on my face. The way the NIRA lasers work is they heat the skin but they heat it just below the level of heat shock, and that is where collagen production happens, which helps to plump out and smooth out those wrinkles on the surface. You'll feel this treatment more because it is a heat treatment. When the laser fires, you do feel it on your skin, you feel like a hot sensation, but it's only for a second, then you move on to the next area and then it's over. And they each have five different temperature settings, so if the highest setting is too hot for you, you can turn it down. The NIRA Pro Laser is normally $649, at 20% off that's $130 savings, bringing it down to $519. And they offer it in a new champagne color."

"This is really cool. You guys know how much I love the regular NIRA, that thing is awesome and it did such great things for my under eyes, but it's got such a tiny little laser beam, you know, that you had to do like 40 pulses under your eyes. It didn't take long, it was like two minutes under each eye, but with this one because it's so much bigger you can do both eyes in two minutes. And then I also do like the rest of my face and I feel like it's making my pores smaller. When I see myself in the mirror it always used to be like my pores would just jump out at me and I'd be like, there they are. I feel like this is making my pores, my skin look so much smoother. I've been using it like on the front of my cheeks, down here in my chin, up here my upper lip, I've been doing like my under jaw. I've only been using it for maybe 20 days so far."
Summer Skincare Routine Update! Increase Collagen & Reduce Wrinkles | Over 50!
"I use the Pro pretty much on my neck and also to do just a lot of spot lasering around my face because this is a lot faster to use. With the Pro you have to do 40 pulses around your eyes and it doesn't take long, but you couldn't do your whole face with the tiny little opening of the other one. This one is a little bit more painful, it's like a rubber band snap when it fires. The Pro is not painful at all. It has a much longer ramp up time and so you don't feel the heat as much with the Pro. If it's more comfortable to use you're just going to continue to stick with it rather than have it gather dust in a drawer. One thing that I like about the NIRA is that it doesn't require any conducting gel or any specific skincare that has to be used with it. You just do it right on clean dry skin and then once you're done you can just go right on with your skincare routine. You don't have to wash your face again. By the time I'm done using the NIRA my face is feeling pretty dry because I haven't put on any moisturizer, so I do like to kind of rewet the surface just so that my skincare absorbs more fully."
NIRA PRO Laser Review After 90 Days on 60 Yo Skin! Face, Neck, Jowls
"I'm really really happy with how much faster this is to use all over my whole face and all over my whole neck, that it doesn't hurt, it doesn't get super hot, [...] and because it's more comfortable to use I am more likely to stick with it. [...] You can use it down the center line of your neck because this only affects the skin on the surface and it doesn't go deeper than the skin, so you can use it over your thyroid. You can use this if you have a darker skin tone because this doesn't look for pigment in your skin; it's targeting water in your skin. [...] Usually with lasers, people with a darker skin tone can't use a laser or have to be very careful with them, and with this one there isn't that precaution because it doesn't look for pigmentation in the skin. [...] There's no contraindication to not use it with tretinoin, so this is safe to use with your tretinoin and your stronger anti-aging actives. [...] It really makes it easy to work it into your skincare routine because you don't have to worry about interactions with your skincare and you don't have to worry about interactions with your other devices. [...] It's really quick and painless to use."
Winter Anti-Aging Skincare Routine Update! Over 40, 50, 60+
"With the NIRA Pro model you actually get more energy per pulse so this one is faster, less painful and easier to use. With the bigger aperture you can treat a much bigger area so where this little guy takes 40 pulses around your eye, this one takes 10 pulses around your eye. There is virtually no pain with this one even if I use it on level five, which I started right on level five and used it, no pain at all. So I ended up doing my whole face with this, I ended up doing my whole neck with this. This one definitely maintained the results that I had with the Precision and increased them a little bit, but what I was really really happy to see was a big change in the wrinkles and quality of my neck. It did maintain and improve the results around my eyes completely pain free, and with the results I saw on my neck, this is the one that I'm using."
Best Skincare & Anti-Aging of 2023! Everything You Need to Age Backwards At Home!
"I used it on my neck and my jawline because the most procedures that I've ever had done on my face are on my neck and my jaw and most of them I'm pretty disappointed in. But with this I was like okay I'm actually seeing some results. The before and after pictures I thought were really really great and I see a difference in my neck every single day. Obviously it didn't get rid of my wrinkles completely, it didn't get rid of my sagging completely. I don't think anything at home will. But it improved it enough that I don't mind as much what my neck looks like now than it did before I started using this."

"The Pro Laser has a tiny little opening, it's a much smaller more targeted laser beam that's really great for using just around the eyes if you're maybe younger and you don't have big areas of wrinkles to treat. But if you are older and you have larger areas that you want to treat, I tested the Pro Laser all over my face and also on my neck and I had great results with this as well. The main differences are that the Pro Laser definitely has a shorter treatment time, or you can do more of your face in a shorter amount of time, and this one you don't feel the heat as much, you don't get as much of a zap. It's much much more comfortable to use."
My EVENING Anti-Aging SKINCARE ROUTINE | Over 60 | Winter 2025
"I use the NIRA at home laser. I did a 3-month and a 5-month trial on the two NIRA devices. I love them, they really reduce my wrinkles by quite a lot. When I was doing the testing I used the NIRA every night. Now that I'm on maintenance mode with the NIRA I tend to use it every other night. Every night did get to be like kind of a lot for me. The NIRA is supposed to be used on clean dry skin."

"NIRA makes nonablative non-fractional at-home lasers that are clinically shown to increase collagen production and reduce wrinkles. On the NIRA Pro [...] the before and after pictures didn't show huge improvements around my eyes or my nasolabial folds, but I think that's because I'd already gotten those results from the Precision laser I used before. I had never used a laser on my neck [...] before, and [...] I was pretty darn impressed with what it did there, it really reduced a lot of the wrinkles in my neck, especially the big one, it looked like there was some collagen production, and it even tightened up my jowls a tiny bit. [...] Nothing at home will make jowls go away, but if it lets me put off an in office procedure for a couple of extra years, I'm all for it."
Top 6 Tips for Reducing Wrinkles! Skincare, Devices, Lifestyle, Procedures!
"This is the Pro Laser, it's got the bigger opening. I use both of these around my eyes. This one it's bigger, it's faster, it doesn't hurt and so I can do my whole face and I can do my neck. The Precision laser does hurt a little bit though. These lasers have to be used every night for 3 months for you to see the results. I've been using the Nera Pro a lot more and this one I feel like it really helps with my crow's feet, really helps with my hooded eyes, really helps with the wrinkles on my neck. For my neck I used the Pro Laser and the results I had on my neck with this one were really great. I really love using this on my neck especially for my jaw and my neck wrinkles. It really improved them. These have been really great at reducing my wrinkles."

"Looking at the left side of my neck, the lines on the side of my neck in the after photo definitely look a little smoother. From my 60-day trial, which admittedly is quite short, possibly the lines that aren't as deep might respond better to the NIRA Pro. Another possibility is that I haven't considered a confounding factor, perhaps I just need to use it for a longer period of time on the deeper lines to see results."

One Year Later: My Honest Review Of The Nira Laser For Reducing Wrinkles | Here's What Happened!
"It uses 1450 nanometers of near-infrared light and the same technology. [...] For a treatment area using the crow's feet and under eye area, it takes about two minutes per side. [...] My biggest concern with the NIRA Pro Laser is the chronic inflammation and the heat that it produces. [...] Did I see improvement? Not really. Did I see maintenance only in the crow's feet? Yes. Will I continue to use it? Not because of heat and inflammation. [...] I'm not going to recommend something that's in the three to five hundred dollar range that just gives 50/50 results. [...] 50/50 is just not good enough for me to actually recommend it to you."

Nira Pro 1st Impressions: Are At-home Pain-free Lasers The Answer To Reducing Wrinkles Over 50?
"With a little bit of fumbling around figuring out how to use the new device, this is a little bit longer than I would have anticipated considering the fact that I do have to still do my precision around my eye area, so it seems like my near treatment each day is going to take between 10 and 12 minutes. Here's a look at my before and after as you can see the little bit of redness that I got during the treatment completely dissipated within about five minutes. I've been following along my NIRA Laser Precision journey for the last year, and at my six month review I showed you my befores and afters. A lot of you made comments, I would say about 10 percent of you shared some negative situations that you had with the company, but most of you had fairly positive things to say about your results, some of you are kind of neutral about your results."
NIRA PRO vs Precision At-home Skincare Lasers | Update: Problems With The PRO
"There's something wrong with the fan so I'm not going to be able to continue with my demo. [...] Unfortunately I'm not going to be able to complete it because there's something wrong with the fan. [...] If you were wondering how my testing with the NIRA Pro is going, it kind of so far has not been going very well. [...] In the last year they haven't had customer service issues and product distribution issues. [...] A lot of you made comments, I would say about 10 of you shared some negative situations that you had with the company. [...] These at home devices are not cheap and I really want you to make an informed decision before you make the investment."
