What the gurus are saying

The experts split on real-world results. One dermatologist found the power output too low to drive meaningful collagen stimulation, but several reviewers (particularly those testing it over months) noted visible softening of eye wrinkles and crow's feet. The catch: it works best on the delicate eye area and requires daily or near-daily use; applying it alongside other heat-based treatments like radiofrequency or microneedling may overtax the skin. Those considering it may want to pause other similar modalities and expect the sensation to feel like a rubber band snap, especially at higher settings.

"The NIRA Precision Laser uses a 1450 nanometer wavelength, which is actually very similar to the wavelength we use for a clear and brilliant laser in an office setting. The challenge with a laser like that is that the power is incredibly low. The wavelength of a laser is only one aspect of what determines if it's effective. The power, the density of the beams, the duration of treatment, how many passes you do, these are all things that also determine whether or not you're going to have collagen stimulation. In this case, that's the goal for these. And the reality is these are such weak lasers that how much benefit you're going to see is going to be very, very conservative."

"There's the Precision laser which my husband is using around his eyes."

Want Younger Looking Hands! Hit replay to watch today’s Instagram Live show where I do a Microneedl
"I like it. It's great for around the eyes but not if you're healing from any sort of microneedling or anything like that. So I have found so much success in terms of the health of the skin with microneedling that to pile this on is going to I feel not be the best thing unless I take some time off of microneedling. When I started doing the hand, did I notice a difference? Not really. I didn't really notice a difference in the hand that I was using this on versus the hand that I was microneedling."

"I'm gonna do the NIRA laser on this hand which I've been testing out for a while now."
Younger-Looking Eyes? | Let’s Put Together Your Tailor-Made Plan!
"There's a lot of research on this. It takes five minutes. There's like two little sound things they say to do, like four layers of this. When you look at the before and afters, it's a commitment because it's every day. You can do it very quickly. The NIRA Precision Laser comes in two different heads. You can do too much of a laser, you can do too much of radio frequency, you can do too much of microneedling."

"My husband has been using the NIRA Precision Laser around his eyes and I've seen major improvements. My only problem with these lasers is you don't know how strong they are. When you're using multiple modalities at home like radio frequency, like microcurrent, like red light therapy, retinoids, chemical peels, when you're doing these at home you have to be very careful that you don't exhaust the skin. So when you add in things like high-level lasers that are now available at home, my theory is that you take the time away from things like radio frequency that heat the skin deeply, because a laser heats the skin."

"My honest opinion of my results is I was hoping for more, but then I think about what was my goal in the beginning, my goal was to maintain my results. So if you look at my 6, 9, and 12 month photos, there's not a lot of improvement but it's not worse either on my crow's feet area. In my under eye area there is a little bit more hollowing. I got some nice results from filler and a PRF treatment, and I know slowly that the results of those treatments will diminish, but the NIRA did not work to maintain those results in my under eye area, they're starting to hollow a little bit. The crow's feet I think were maintained. Ultimately my goal was 50/50. The crow's feet look about the same, the under eye looks a little bit worse."

"If you are mainly just concerned with wrinkles and sagging around your eyes, I'd recommend the NIRA Precision Laser. It definitely reduced my eye wrinkles when I tested it. The lasers work by heating your skin just below the level of heat shock. That is where collagen production is increased. And so they help to increase collagen production in your skin."

BEST Early Black Friday Beauty DEALS!
"The precision laser is really helpful for around the eye area. It really gave me great results, especially in the wrinkles under my eyes. It's made my wrinkles so much less deep, so much less visible that I love this guy. The way the neural lasers work is they heat the skin but they heat it just below the level of heat shock and that is where collagen production happens which helps to plump out and smooth out those wrinkles on the surface. You'll feel this treatment more because it is a heat treatment. When the laser fires, you do feel it on your skin."
NIRA PRO Laser Review After 90 Days on 60 Yo Skin! Face, Neck, Jowls
"This one does take the neural lasering to a whole new level of comfort and speed and the areas that you can treat, and there's no reduction in the power or the amount of energy that you're getting out of this one. You're just treating a bigger area in less time. It produces types one and type three collagen in your skin, so it doesn't destroy any skin and it's not looking for color in your skin so it's safe to use for people with darker skin tones. I was so psyched about the results that I got with the sister laser about 9 months ago, and now I'm using this one and I'm seeing great results around my eyes."
Winter Anti-Aging Skincare Routine Update! Over 40, 50, 60+
"I used it for 150 days and it gave me great results around my eyes on my crow's feet with the wrinkles under my eyes and in my nasal labial folds. But this one is more time consuming to use and it also does hurt a bit on level four and level five."
Best Skincare & Anti-Aging of 2023! Everything You Need to Age Backwards At Home!
"I could not believe what it did for the wrinkles around my eyes. It even reduced my wrinkles that you can't get at with anything, even with Botox, even with in-office treatment, like the wrinkles directly under my eyes softened so much, minimized so much, so much less deep, so much less long, so much less everything using this. I really loved it. The only thing I didn't love about it is that it hurts."

"I would say to go for the Precision laser but if you are older and you have larger areas that you want to treat. The Precision laser does hurt a little bit more like a rubber band snapping and it does take a little bit longer to use, but I was so amazed at the differences in my skin after testing it in a 3-month trial."
My EVENING Anti-Aging SKINCARE ROUTINE | Over 60 | Winter 2025
"The Precision model I feel is most effective for the wrinkles around the eyes, it is such a tiny little opening that it does take a lot longer to use, it's a lot hotter with this one, you have to do like 40 pulses around each eye. But then when I got the Pro, this one is so much faster, so much easier, so much more convenient to use. The Pro model actually delivers more energy per pulse than the Precision model, but because it delivers it over a longer pulse time you don't feel the heat as much and so it's a much more comfortable treatment. When I use this one around my eyes it's 10 pulses so I'm done really quickly. But then because this is so much bigger I can use it everywhere on my face, I can use it over here, I can use it on my upper lip, I can do my entire neck. I use this one probably every other night now."
