What the gurus are saying

Gurus acknowledge the formula's technical merit in layering different molecular weights for varied hydration depths, but the main critique is redundancy. The recurring complaint is that hyaluronic acid is already ubiquitous in most skincare routines, making this standalone serum feel unnecessary for most users rather than a standout addition.

"I don't like the multimolecular hyaluronic acid. I just don't think we all need that much hyaluronic acid in our lives. For those of you that do really love your dose of hyaluronic acid, this is a great one, but for most of us we get our hyaluronic acid fixed as part of the rest of our skincare routine where it features as an ingredient in just about everything, so that's nothing special."

"The first is the multimolecular hyaluronic acid complex which is a combination of low and high weight hyaluronic acid the lower weight penetrates a little bit more deeply and the higher weight kind of sits more on the surface of the skin to hydrate. I've been trying this in my evening skincare routine."
