This actually has a skyhigh concentration of that key ingredient the ethylated ascorbic acid at 30%. This packs a punch. I think we always associate NIOD with higher price points, but this came in at £36, which for me is really affordable when you think of the formulation, the technology, and the fact that this is really going to last. Compared with other ethylated ascorbic acid products, this doesn't oxidize as quick. So you have around 6 to 9 months to use this before it'll start to turn. That's amazing because it means you can get through a bottle and there's zero wastage. I absolutely love this one. "This is the strongest vitamin C you will find on the skincare market, bar none. This is like sky-high potency and believe me you get sky-high results. But oh, the irritation, the irritation was so bad. I can feel it now, I haven't even got this product on and I can feel that irritation. It was particularly irritating on the skin. This is a stabilized form of vitamin C so it lasts a lot longer than some of the other products, so that's a big plus. If you want immediate results and you don't want to wait to fade the hyperpigmentation and get your glow game on point, then reach for this. But it comes with a huge disclaimer: you will get irritation, you will get sensitivity. Some people might think it's worth fighting through that in order to get the results and I don't disagree. I just think for me it was a bit much. So yes, 10 out of 10 for results, but five out of 10 for comfort. I would say best for people that have really resilient skin. If you've got sensitive skin, avoid this at all costs."

"They also recommend to use this serum at nighttime because of the high percentage, that was another reason why I never continued on with this because I'm using tretinoin at night, I'm using lactic acid or peptides. I don't want to be using vitamin C at night. I much prefer to use vitamin C in the morning. I like the texture, it's thin, it's like water, it spreads, absorbs nicely, but again that 30 percent is just a little bit too much. So six out of ten."
