"This is one of my favorite copper peptide serums, and this really performs. This firms the skin. It helps to stimulate collagen and it also helps to target fine lines and wrinkles. A very hydrating formula as well. It's very thin like water. It has a dark blue hue to it. And this is something that can be used in your morning as well as your evening skincare routine. When it comes to copper peptides, there are some products that you shouldn't pair up with it like direct acids, glycolic, lactic acid, salicylic acid. They also don't recommend to use retinol, retinaldehyde with this. Although I know that there are several people that do pair up the two together. But for me personally, I never pair this up with retinol. I keep it separate. So sometimes I will use this in my morning, retinol at night or if I'm taking a break from retinol in my evening routine then I will replace it with copper peptides. This always needs to be in my skincare routine some way somehow. Copper peptides truly take your skin to the next level when you compare it to regular peptide serums. So if you're using a regular peptide right now and you're not really seeing a difference with your skin, use copper peptides. And this one from NIOD is really advanced and I find it works pretty quickly. You have to be consistent."

"The Neod brand is more advanced, which is why the prices are more expensive than the ordinary. It's one of my most repurchased serums as well. And I will alternate between the ordinary and this. Sometimes I use the ordinary copper peptides more just because it's more affordable, but this one at the end of the day performs better and quicker from my experience with it. The texture of this is like water. It's very thin. It's dark blue in color. It's very thin and lightweight. It dries down skin-like. There's no glow to your skin, and it's not sticky or tacky. It never pills with skincare, at least from my experience with this. And this can be used every day, twice a day. When I use this, I don't pair this up with other active ingredients like retinol, [tretinoin]. I don't pair this up with any type of exfoliating acid or ascorbic acid, vitamin C. You can use vitamin C derivatives with this. You can use growth factors with this. Niacinamide, hyaluronic acid. There's a lot of things you can use with copper peptides, but don't be using your other actives because you want to achieve maximum results with your copper. So, let this be the star of the show in your skincare routine. And then just pair up other hydrating and repairing products or growth factors for that matter. Growth factors pair up really well with copper peptides and peptides. So, you'll see a really great improvement with your skin."

"I have an empty Copper Amino Isolate Serum, so this is their copper peptide and this is very similar to The Ordinary Buffet plus copper peptides 1%. The serum that I shared with you is the old packaging but the formula is the exact same. This one is very similar to The Ordinary but they do contain different ingredients and the texture of this is more like water whereas the one from The Ordinary is more like a jelly. The one from The Ordinary I do feel like is a little bit more moisturizing on the skin but they both spread nicely across the skin. There's no paling whatsoever and I do feel like the NIOD one works a little bit quicker from the experience that I have had with the two but you can't go wrong with either one. So yes I will be continuing on with this for sure."
