What the gurus are saying

Soothing is the word that keeps coming up for this 15% azelaic acid serum, and the gurus who tried it say it feels like a clear step ahead of other over-the-counter azelaic acids. The one thing to keep in mind is access, since other azelaic acid serums are easier to find on store shelves while this one is ordered online. That means people who like to shop in person may want to plan ahead before they buy.

"I love it. It's one of my holy grails."

"Prescription-wise it's a no-brainer. Definitely the Niche Beauty Labs Azelaic Acid 15%. I actually like this brand a lot. It's a 15% azelaic acid product. There are other azelaic acid products in the US that may be a little more accessible than this one, but I really like this one a lot, and I've used it quite a bit myself. It's leaps and bounds ahead of any other azelaic acid I've ever tried over the counter, and from an aesthetic standpoint, it's prescription-level too."

"Azelaic acid is pretty gentle, like the Niche Beauty Labs Azelaic Acid 15%. It's very, very soothing. [...] I'm not trying to come after this product, by the way, because I actually think it's great. Azelaic acid [...] is probably more [...] gentle. [...] For the redness type, azelaic acid might be a little better, because I think there are a few more studies showing it helps with redness, but I'm not sure."

"It's brand new, and it's the super size version too, so this stuff is wonderful. This one contains carnosine, a very strong anti-glycation ingredient, and it also helps further break age bonds to maintain the integrity of proteins, collagen, and elastin. This serum also contains a couple other age inhibitors, EGCG and propyl gallate, and then it also contains one of my favorite actives, azelaic acid. So you can't beat it. I love this stuff."
