If you're going to use the shampoo, just make sure that you massage it to your scalp to really get in on your scalp so it can do the thing it needs to do."

"It has menthol which is going to offer that cooling effect to temporarily alleviate the symptom of itch. It has 2.5% salicylic acid and it has fragrance. No antifungal ingredient, no peroxone. Fragrance and menthol may not be ideal for sensitive inflamed scalps inclined more so to develop contact sensitization to these ingredients or irritation to them. This shampoo is best for symptomatic relief from itch. It also can exfoliate away flakes and scalp buildup."
