That bright fruity scent means added fragrance, and fragrance is one of the most common causes of irritation, especially on acne prone skin that's already inflamed or already using retinoids. "Let's say for any reason I don't see the Cetaphil cleanser and I see this on the shelf, I'm going to grab it. It does have fragrance though. It smells like grapefruit which I love, but I know that some people have oily skin that is sensitive to fragrance. If that is you, then skip this. Otherwise, I think it's very refreshing. It has a very energizing scent in the shower and it works. It completely absolutely works."

"I don't know how people's skin tolerates it. The only redeeming factor of it is that it rinses off and you're not going to spend very much time on your skin. That one was pretty terrible. I highly do not recommend anybody try it. They still have that pink grapefruit line of stuff and I don't know, maybe one or two random people in the world it works well for, I don't know, but for me it left my skin feeling very dry and irritated, itchy, and squeaky clean, almost like a stripped feeling."
