"I was excited to see Neutrogena came out with a fragrance-free version of their Hydro Boost sunscreen after I hated the fragrant version. This SPF 50 sunscreen is a chemical sunscreen with a hydrogel vehicle that includes hyaluronic acid, making it fast absorbing, quick dry, and non-greasy. It would be wonderful for people in humid climates with oily skin, and it's fantastic for hair-bearing areas like beards and mustaches. It looks beautiful on the skin with no white cast. However, the major issue is that it causes severe burning in the eyes because it's not water resistant, so it seeps into your eyes as the day goes on. I could not tolerate this as a facial sunscreen - I even tried protecting the eye area with plain zinc oxide sunscreen, but it still got in. While I love the texture and how non-greasy it feels, I cannot recommend it for facial use due to the eye-burning issue."
