It's fragrance free and it has hyaluronic acid, which actually may help enhance the penetration of the glycolic acid. Alpha hydroxy acids definitely exfoliate, they dissolve the glue between the sticky skin cells."

"Oh my gosh, I had no idea Neutrogena came out with this Hydro Boost Glycolic Acid Overnight Peel, fragrance free. Glycolic acid can penetrate a bit more deeply and it helps with moisture retention and improving hyperpigmentation, though if you have a deeper skin tone you have to be careful because it can be too irritating. This may sting when you put it on, so be careful and make sure you're wearing sunscreen, because it can make you a little more vulnerable to the sun."
