"There's a shampoo called Neral shampoo which has an anti-yeast ingredient called ketoconazole. I would just be a little bit cautious because these shampoos are essentially made for the scalp and they could be a little bit harsh for the face. I wouldn't use them every day or maybe just focus on those areas."

"I use the shampoo as a body wash to try to prevent it from coming back. I am somebody who's actually prone to Tinea Versicolor, so I am on this maintenance routine about once a week. When I'm doing my dandruff routine where I'm actually treating my dandruff, I take that dandruff shampoo, usually Neral. I massage it onto my body, I leave it on for 2 to 3 minutes before I wash it off, and that keeps my Tinea Versicolor from coming back."
