What the gurus are saying

Gurus praise the formula's gentle efficacy, particularly the peptide blend and bakuchiol for collagen support without retinoid irritation, and note the pleasant melting texture suitable for both neck and face. A recurring complaint is the strong fragrance despite a fragrance-free claim, which some find unpleasant and lingering. The high price point per ounce divides opinion on whether the active ingredient profile justifies the cost.

"Neostra's Triple Firming Neck Cream has peptides, which are still very exciting to me, especially for those who can't tolerate a retinoid. I've loved this cream. It's so nice. I've even brought it to my face as a facial moisturizer to layer over my retinoid. You can have your retinoid game on your face and then follow up with a peptide moisturizer like NeoStrata, not just for your neck, but also on your face to get that collagen boosting. It is lightweight yet rich. It has glucosamine in addition to peptides. Just an overall great moisturizer. I love the texture and how it just melts into my skin when I apply it at bedtime. It is a higher price point though, but to me, it's worth it."

"This one is very gentle. I've been testing this ever since I received it and I had to include it in this video because it really is a nice neck cream that can address all signs of aging. There is an ingredient in here called bakuchiol. Now this is a plant-based alternative to retinol. So way more gentle than retinol, retinoin or even retinaldehyde. It will do very similar things to what retinol does but it's more gentle. There's another ingredient in here called micro peptide. So, this is actually a patented technology. It's a microsized peptide that will help to lift and firm the skin and help to stimulate new collagen. There's also another ingredient in here called neoglucosamine. So, this is actually going to help gently exfoliate the skin, which is really important, especially for the neck area. We want to get rid of any surface dead skin. And we want to improve skin quality and this of course will help to retexturize everything creating more of that softer, smoother feel and this of course will lead to a brighter complexion as well. There's also vitamin E in here which is an antioxidant."

"It does have some perfuming ingredients. It's a very strong fragrant smell, perfuming smell, but apparently you need to watch out for these type of ingredients if you're smelling a perfume even though the product says fragrance free. This for me just doesn't work, it lingers and I just don't like to have a scent on my skin throughout the day. I much prefer the Advanced Neck Cream by Dermatology. These are both hydrating products and they do have a few skin loving ingredients, but to be honest for the price, this comes out to about thirty-one dollars an ounce and it's loaded with peptides whereas the active ingredients in this are pretty slim."
