Metal Rod Mascara.

"This is a metal wand mascara, and I see the hype, I think it's wonderful for short lashes, it's not the most volumizing but it is lengthening because you're able to hit every lash with it. It's really good for control and precision, it's a good formula, it doesn't smudge, it doesn't flake, and I don't have any real complaints with the mascara itself, though you'll want an oil based remover to take it off. My gripe is with the way Neogen is marketing it as more hygienic than a regular mascara, which gives people a made up concern and a false sense of security, since mascaras already have preservatives and you're supposed to replace them every three months anyway. While I enjoyed this when I first started using it, I just can't get behind this kind of marketing, so it's going to be out for me."
