What the gurus are saying

This retinol earns consistent praise for bringing active skincare to a body area most people neglect, with a solid 0.1% retinol concentration paired with exfoliating acids that work together on tone and texture. The creamy, occlusive formula applies easily head to toe and layers well with peptide serums, though the price point is steep enough that some gurus suggest checking your budget first. One thing to keep in mind: don't pair the exfoliating acids with a separate body exfoliant on the same night.

"Their body retinol is a fantastic one. I think this one is slightly more hydrating. It's a little thicker and it's a little more occlusive. It's always in my body care rotation."

"This is one of my holy grails. It's 0.1% retinol with OS, so it's not a retinaldehyde formula, but it is a retinol formula at 0.1% which is a pretty decent percentage. I keep this in my bathroom all the time. And I layer it up with my one skin for the body with the OS1 peptides. I can't give it up. I haven't found anything that works better. You can combine this retinol with the OS1 for body, but you don't want to combine your body exfoliation night with your retinol. I've already repurchased it."

"One of my favorite products is still the Necessaire Body Retinol. It combines your retinol and your exfoliating acid into a pretty decent size product, and I think it is probably still one of the most complete products out there for tone on the body. It's something I recommend in the office all the time, but because it's kind of expensive I do always caveat it with, well, what's your budget-friendly alternative."

"The Necessaire Body Retinol is really nice. I feel like your body is a little bit neglected. We're all about the retinoids and the exfoliants on our face and then our body skin is like, hey, what about me? I'm getting kind of creepy and saggy also. So having something like a Body Retinol I think is amazing. This also has alpha hydroxy acids. It's kind of like this plushy creamy serum and you can apply this like head to toe. It's 0.1% retinol which is like a good concentration and then a 10% blend of alpha hydroxy acids, I think it's glycolic acid and maybe mandelic acid. This is really nice if you're trying to kind of up your body care game and you want some actives in your body care."
