"This is a similar treatment to slather that you can use one to three times a week. It's a little more potent. It has alpha hydroxy acids, lactic and glycolic, beta hydroxy acid, and polyhydroxy acid, so it is a bit more intense. I would say it's more of an exfoliating treatment. So you get out of the shower, maybe put a hydrating lotion on, maybe something very thin like the Neutrogena Hydro Boost, and then put this on or nothing, put this on, let it kind of soak in a little bit, and then come in with a moisturizer. Whereas the slather you can use it more often, it's got retinol, urea, lactic acid, and squalene. So the Nécessaire doesn't have retinol, so these are an interesting combination. You could use this twice a week and this two to three times a week and your body will be so soft and smooth."

"I personally like to wash it off in the morning because it has a fairly tacky feel to it. It goes on like a clear gel and you just cover your body in it and let it soak in. It does take a little while to soak in, it is a little tacky. It's more of a special treatment that you might do on occasion. I can't say that I found amazing benefits from it and I wasn't a huge fan of how tacky it was, but if you're wanting to do a really deep full body exfoliation you might want to give this a try."
