What the gurus are saying

Unanimous yay from 2 reviewers. Dr. Sam Ellis and Mixed Makeup both rate it highly. Top take: "This is also quite a lightweight serum, and not only does it have tranexamic acid which helps fight hyperpigmentation, but it has other pigmentation fighters in it as well like kojic acid and licorice root extract and niacinamide, so it's a great serum for people who are looking for something that's easy to layer in their routine and has multiple pigment fighters.", Dr. Sam Ellis.

My Nighttime Skincare Routine for Clogged Pores & Melasma (Pregnancy Approved!) | Dr. Sam Ellis
"I'm going to be using the Naturium tranexamic topical acid five percent, which also has kojic acid, niacinamide, and licorice root. The real point of topical tranexamic acid is to help with unnecessary pigment formation. I was like you know I'm not really struggling with pigment I don't really have a place for this in my routine, but coming into pregnancy I'm like yes please give me all the help I can with pigment. The other things in here like the kojic acid and the licorice root and the niacinamide have all been shown to help with pigment as well."

"Five percent tranexamic acid is a clinically effective percentage of tranexamic acid so you'll really see a big difference in your hyperpigmentation and your melasma. It goes really well with all of your other skincare ingredients, it doesn't cause any irritation for my skin, and I can use it actually morning and night. It's a really really light serum, it almost feels like it's an essence, so it's just very hydrating for the skin. There are other ingredients in here as well: there's kojic acid which is another one of those ingredients for hyperpigmentation, niacinamide, and then licorice root as well in this one product."
