What the gurus are saying

The bouncy, dewy, plump skin feel is what reviewers keep coming back to, and it lasts all day. The light oil-serum hybrid formula with squalane, 2% urea, and ceramide complex supports the barrier and works well after over-exfoliation or laser treatment. At $24, it's a bargain, though it's not widely available outside the US. Worth shaking before use to remix.

"My ultimate skin goal aside from skin health is bouncy juicy skin. I'm actually not even worried about the wrinkles, I'm not even ultimately that worried about the sagging. I just want dewy plump skin and this is the product that gives it to me. The very first time I tried it, 4 hours later my skin was still hydrated. I didn't have to mist it, felt bouncy. I was shocked. And this product is only $24."

"It's an unusual product, it's sort of an oil, it's sort of a serum, it's sort of a lotion, and it can be used in different ways. You can use it in different parts of your routine however you want to. It contains squalane, urea, and ceramide complex. It really supports a healthy skin barrier. I use this as a part of my serum phase and it plumps the hell out of my skin. It gives me that dewy bouncy feel, and I was surprised that it lasted all day. It is truly a bit of magic. Only costs $24. The only downside is that they don't sell it here on this side of the pond."

"Next up, I would normally go in with some kind of a retinoid, but because I'm a little over a week post laser treatment, I don't want to be too rough with my skin yet. So I'm going to go in with Naturium Barrier Bounce because it is the best. But you do have to shake this. It's a reverse emulsion, so it's like an oil moisturizer combo, a hybrid. It's very light, but when you put it on, you can feel it's got a thicker serum texture, and that's because of the way that it's formulated. It's like a hydrator/moisturizer, and it has 2% urea in it and a cannabis complex and other really great ingredients for your skin. Urea is so great, especially post treatment if you want to hydrate your skin, because urea is part of our natural moisturizing factor, so our skin recognizes it and loves it. At 2% it's purely in there to hydrate your skin, it's not going to exfoliate or anything, it just hydrates."

"We were looking at all these types of ingredients, and we chose squalane as one of the main oils for it because we wanted to make sure it wasn't going to feel too heavy. It's really light, so it doesn't feel super heavy or overbearing on the skin. It is very milky, which I really like, and it spreads really well. I love this product, so good. I like to use this when my skin feels irritated or if I've over-exfoliated a little bit. I like to use this because it kind of saves the day and it provides that nourishment immediately."
