What the gurus are saying

Gurus praise the product's ability to target specific concerns like under-eye darkness and redness when applied directly to skin as a base layer. The recurring emphasis is on proper application technique: layering it under foundation or concealer rather than on top yields the best results and prevents a muddy finish. Customization to individual needs is key to success with this product.

"I'm using Nars to do some color correcting around my eyes, which are so dark because I've been sick. I like to just kind of go between all of these depending on the area of my face. Around my nose, I like a little extra coverage and some highlighting because we tend to be a little bit more red around our nose. I get darkness around my lips, so I use Nars to work as like a basis, but make sure that you are tailoring it to you if there are certain areas that you feel like you need to pay more attention to."

"The red counteracts the blue. She's got the color corrector and I was really hoping she was gonna pull one out. The color corrector laid down properly, and then she could go on with like a very thin layer of the Armani just to kind of smooth out any edges and then go in with the concealer. Instead she's putting that color corrector on top of a foundation color and that's just not going to work well. You're going to end up with a little bit of like a muddy effect."
