What the gurus are saying

Gurus consistently praise this lip oil for its glossy finish, comfortable wear, and reliable sun protection without white cast. The main trade-off is longevity and initial tackiness; it needs reapplication and a few minutes to set, though reviewers note the stickiness subsides. Those with outdoor lifestyles or sensitive skin, including lip eczema, find it particularly useful for hydration and gentleness. The small 0.15 oz size is a noted drawback relative to perceived packaging volume.

"This is an Australian company, Glow and Go lip oil SPF 50, chemical sunscreen with no white cast. The salted caramel does have a bit of a caramel aroma to it. It's a glossy lip oil that stays on really well despite not being water resistant, which is my preference. It's nice, it's glossy, it's easy to apply, it's not too sticky or gooey and it stays on pretty well. You obviously need to reapply it. It doesn't quite have the longevity of some of the others. It comes in a few other flavors and shades, coconut and watermelon. This salted caramel one has a slight pinkish hue to it and a little bit of a hint of shimmer as well. It's 0.15 oz, and the packaging is a little sneaky because it sort of looks like you're getting a lot but you're really not getting very much."

"It reminds me of Hawaiian Tropics, something like that. Like a very old fashioned sunscreen. After a good five minutes, that sunscreen taste kind of goes. It does leave and the stickiness does calm down. I feel like you need to give it a minute. However, it's very, very glossy. It's nice. I do like Naked Sundays. I'm going to use it. I will continue to use it up."

"It's called Naked Sundays lip oil and it really does what it's supposed to do. It's literally a lip oil but it's an SPF 50, which is nice."

"I have been reaching for the Naked Sundays lip oil for working outside purely because it lasts on my lips for a really long time and I cannot be bothered to be running inside to put on some lip product every like 20, 30 minutes while I'm mowing the lawn and pulling weeds and working in the dirt. I spend a lot of my weekend outside these days. I need a product that's going to keep my lips hydrated and moist because my lips can get really dry, and I'm very prone to lip eczema so it's important to keep things moisturized. I like that this has SPF. This doesn't bother my eczema at all, and I'm pretty sensitive."
