What the gurus are saying

This cleanser earns praise for being gentle enough for sensitive and eczema-prone skin without leaving skin feeling stripped or tight afterwards. The formula pairs colloidal oatmeal with peptides and shea butter in a creamy base that froths naturally but rinses cleaner than some other hydrating options. Dermatologists particularly value it on retinol nights when skin needs a gentler touch.

"It's really elegant and it's from Murad and it's their Soothing Oat and Peptide Cleanser. Certainly this is one that is great for sensitive and eczema prone skin. It's fragrance free, sulfate free. It contains this unique peptide micellar water technology along with oats and shea butter. It's creamy, naturally foamy, but compared to other options it doesn't leave as much of that hydrating residue, but it's still really good and effective and does not make your skin feel stripped or super tight afterwards. So again, another great option if you're looking for a more elegant, slightly pricier creamy cleanser."

"I'm using the Murad Soothing Oat and Peptide Cleanser because tonight is my retinol night and I like to use cleansers that have colloidal oatmeal whenever I'm going to be using a retinol."
