"This serum in particular I think it would be really good if you're someone who is dealing with persistent facial redness, maybe from healing acne or related to rosacea. I think this can help. Not only does it actively help reduce the redness, but the ingredient tranexamic acid also can improve the moisture barrier, so ultimately helping reduce dryness and irritation. You might think of tranexamic acid, the oral pill, as a treatment for melasma, so you might think topical would help with hyperpigmentation a little bit, but mostly it addresses redness. Plus this has salicylic acid and mandelic acid, so that's going to help with surface texture. It's very gentle. The salicylic acid is like 0.5%, so not super fast acting like 2% would be, you'd be more likely to get irritation with that, but can still be definitely effective for surface texture.
