What the gurus are saying

Gurus praise this cleanser for its gentle, anti-inflammatory formula and affordability, making it ideal for dry, sensitive, or barrier-damaged skin. The consistent caveat is that the surfactants are too mild to remove makeup or heavy sunscreen effectively, limiting its use as a standalone cleanser for most routines. The short ingredient list and pump packaging are seen as bonuses.

"It's used sodium laurel oat amino acids as the surfactant, an anti-inflammatory surfactant, which I really like, and it's very mild. I'd say this is really good for dry skin, but this is not going to remove your makeup. The surfactants are too gentle. It's probably not going to remove layers of sunscreen either. So this is really more if you have a damaged skin barrier, sensitive skin, rosacea, then you would pick up this cleanser."

"This one's got oat and glycerin, you apply it on wet skin and massage and rinse off thoroughly. It doesn't really have a lot of anything, it's a very short ingredient list, so super affordable. I'm excited to play with this one. It comes in a pump bottle, which is even better. I don't see any foaming ingredients."
