"My favorite and the one I've recommended the most from the brand altogether is their 5% Niacinamide Serum. Niacinamide we've talked about at length before over a period of years, and the concentration less than 5% is clinically functional. You can get great results, or as good as you could get from the supporting ingredient at low concentrations. There are so few brands I think that were brave enough to put forth that concentration and say this is your niacinamide product. You don't need more. Five is enough. And there's some good supporting ingredients in this as well. You add in things like a bit of ferment extract, oat extract, and hyaluronic acid, and so you basically have a niacinamide serum that's hydrating and calming and soothing to the skin. Bit of ferment extract actually been shown to help with sensitive skin, some of that irritation, stinging and burning sensation. So it's a phenomenal ingredient to add into a facial serum. Niacinamide plus, it's got a little bit more. It's going to do more for you. I think this product is a lot more interesting."

"You can complement your retinol with a 5 percent niacinamide. You get 5 percent niacinamide in Minimalist. So opting for a 5 percent niacinamide is good. You'll apply it over retinol so your night time routine is going to look something like this: double cleanse, then you're going to use your retinol, then you're going to use your niacinamide, then you're going to moisturize."
