What the gurus are saying

No BS Beauty rates it highly; Dr. Vanita Rattan is mixed. Dr. Vanita Rattan: "It is a nav saafe product I like the form of vitamin C that's been used but it means that you should not be using this in the mornings and certainly not daily either so for that reason I am going to say it's Dr V kind of approved but you can do better"

"I actually really like this formula it's a naif safe formula it's at a decent price point what I don't like about it is that it's in not in airless packaging"
Brightening Serums Rated on NYKAA
"The base ingredient here is Centella Asiatica, which is anti-inflammatory, and inflammation is the number one cause of dark marks and hyperpigmentation. I also love that they've used DMI and ethoxydiglycol for dual penetration. They've also gone in with a PHA, which is very gentle exfoliation, but you don't exfoliate daily, especially in a hot country, because pigmentation will get darker once you stop exfoliating. [...] So PHA is not something I would use daily, and certainly not during the day. [...] I love that they've gone in with acetyl glucosamine as a second melanin pathway. The beauty of Minimalist generally is that there's no fragrance and no dyes, so no chance of contact dermatitis. I love that they've gone in with 3-O-ethyl ascorbic acid, not pure ascorbic acid. The only downside with this formula is that it's not in an airless pump, they've gone with an opaque jar, which is better than what we've seen so far, but an airless pump really would have increased the number. [...] So this formula is getting an 8 out of 10, which is decent. It's not bad, but if they did put this into an airless pump, it would be better."
