What the gurus are saying

Gurus love this primer for its rare balance of mattifying power without the heavy, drying feel typical of matte primers. It's consistently praised for a creamy, skincare-like texture that doesn't sit as a visible layer. Best suited for oily skin; those with less oil may find it slightly drying. The squeezable tube packaging is a beloved detail.

"Another primer that I actually really like is the Pore Eclipse from Milk. If you're looking for something that's going to do a little bit of mattifying, this is really nice because it is water-based, but it is also mattifying, but it's also hydrating enough. There's a lot of mattifying products out there that are just like they just feel like heavy and dry on the skin. I don't like that. I like my skin to feel hydrated. So, if you don't want something that's like heavy and mattifying, this is a really great primer to try out from Milk."

"Same with Milk's Pore Eclipse primer. This is great if you are super, super oily, not just a little bit oily. This might dry you out a little bit. But I would go for something like this. It's a bit more creamy and it's not like that siliconey clear liquid. It feels like skincare. You can feel your skin. It doesn't feel like there's a layer of something on top."

"I adore that primer. The squeezey tube for one, I adore this. If I'm going out to dinner for an event, I will pop this on my face, which is where it belongs. It's stunning. Really stunning. It is beautiful if you are oily. If you just want matte skin, you don't even have to be oily to have matte skin. This is the one. Adore it."
