What the gurus are saying

The experts who tried it agree the instant cooling sensation feels genuinely nice, but both found the hydrating and calming payoff fell short of what they'd expect from a serum stick. Those looking for a quick cooling refresh on their face may find it useful for that alone, however anyone counting on it to replace a hydrating serum or moisturizer for actual skin results will likely be disappointed by how little it leaves behind.

"I had to do like five on my cheek, five on the other cheek, a fair few on my forehead and then I was patting it in. You just didn't get the hydrating payoff that you get with hydrating serums, calming serums, cooling serums. I don't get serum stick form in this case. The payoff wasn't enough for me. The instant cooling was very very nice and that's probably more what I would use this for on a daily basis rather than the ingredient benefits. But I don't know, if you don't like your skin dewy, glowy, feeling hydrated and you just want it calmed, this will be fine. But I feel like if you're going to have these hydrating ingredients in a serum, it should feel like your skin is hydrated. My skin felt like nothing was on it after, which I don't like."

"It does give that nice cooling sensation but I just don't feel like this is something that I would rely on for anti-aging for calming down my skin. I'd rather use something else like a serum or a moisturizer to get the results that I'm looking for."
