What the gurus are saying

One expert found it delivers solid lift and length with minimal flaking and less clumping on lower lashes than traditional mascara, calling out the $12.99 price point as a draw. However, another reviewer reported the formula applied quite wet and transferred when blinking, requiring cleanup, and found the lashes looked spiky rather than natural; that same tester also noted it smudged easily when touched. The split here hinges on application technique and personal tolerance for how the wet formula sets.

"It's a Tubing Mascara. It really does give a good amount of lift and length. It stays on well, like doesn't get too flaky. I like the Milani one. It's really good. The longevity is good, it does get a little flaky in comparison to some others, but it's barely different. $12.99 for this one."

"The Milani one's pretty good, very similar to this. The tubing mascaras I do find provide a little bit of that detail-oriented application, and they don't clump on my bottom lashes the way regular mascara does."

"The Milani got a two out of five score on the application because it applied very wet and it took a while to dry down, and it would transfer when I blinked so I had to do quite a bit of cleanup. The lashes are long but they're a little bit on the spiky side, not very natural looking. On the smudge ability, this only got a two out of five on the smudge factor. It did smudge off if you touched your lashes. For me, a mascara is number one if it doesn't have a high smudge factor. On washing off, it took five or six swipes, so I doused each eyelash in water and got them saturated like if I was in the shower and then I wiped them off to see if the tubes came off."
