What the gurus are saying

The gurus who tested it found Luminoso delivers a beautiful peachy-gold glow that reads differently depending on skin tone and undertone, with one noting it mixes well with warmer blushes for flexibility. The one thing to keep in mind: it does have slightly larger golden specks than the original formula, so anyone preferring a more subtle shimmer may want to swatch first. Several experts flagged that it tends to read prettier on others than on oneself at first glance, so a test on the apples of the cheek in natural light helps.

"The OG Luminoso. God, what a throwback. Then they reformulated and it's never been the same. It's still pretty, but it's just not what it was. This is just bringing a little bit more of that like peach and gold to the cheek plus like that beautiful luminescence. It does have like slightly larger golden specks in it than it used to, but it's still pretty."

"I wanted to tone it down a little bit and I started to notice that this was a little too pink so I decided to mix it with this Milani blush which is a little bit more on the coraly side, a little bit more warmth. You have the option to go a little bit more icy pink baby pink colors or a little bit more peach depending on your undertone and what you're going for either one really beautiful."

"The Milani Luminoso, every time I see it on someone else you know how that happens sometimes where you use it on yourself you're like cute cute and then you see it on somebody else and you're like wait yes why have I been sleeping on that."
