What the gurus are saying

This primer earns praise for feeling weightless and watery rather than heavy like many silicone primers, and it moisturizes without leaving skin feeling dry or caked. Those with combination skin may find it particularly useful since typical blurring primers can cling or over-dry the skin. Start with a small amount and press it gently into areas that need smoothing rather than applying too much at once.

"I personally really like this Milani Conceal and Perfect Blur Out Smoothing Primer. The reason that I like it so much is because it's very moisturizing, but it does do a good job blurring. [...] I think it's worth a shot. [...] It's kind of cool to the touch. [...] This is like particularly good if you have combination skin because typically those blurring primers just they'll tend to like cling or make your skin like a little too dry. Make sure you're starting off with like a small amount so you're not building up way too much. And it does help with these kind of primers to kind of like press it into those areas."

"I'm iffy on it just because I've had, I feel like I've been burned so many times by blurring primers. But I'm interested, and I at the very least appreciate that it feels a little bit innovative. It feels like something. The scoop is this tiny little scoop, but they put it right in the little cap, which I think is fantastic. It's shielded because it's inside, and I think that's great."

"I am going to use Milani Conceal and Perfect Blur Out Smoothing Primer. Going to place a little bit of that in the center of my face, just in my T-zone."

"What I like about this off the bat is how lightweight it feels. You know how a lot of the silicone primers feel very heavy even though they're very effective and they make the skin look flawless? This has almost a watery feel to it which is nice. I really like that. [...] I really like how lightweight it feels. [...] It really smooths things out and it feels like it's not sitting on top of the skin, which makes me excited because I wasn't sure how it was going to perform underneath foundation."
