What the gurus are saying

The experts who reviewed it are skeptical about the core claims. One notes that while microcurrent can stimulate muscle contraction (which might theoretically help in specific cases like Bell's palsy) there's no solid evidence it reduces wrinkles. The other cautions that promises of a chiseled jawline or instant results don't hold up, especially given the high cost. Both suggest saving the money rather than banking on a device marketed for facial sculpting.

"It is causing muscle contraction and stimulating those muscles and potentially bringing back your muscle contraction in that area. Now if somebody has something like Bell's palsy where they lose the ability to contract one side of the face, this could stimulate the muscles, get them back into high gear and try to recover maybe a little bit quicker. I could see the logic there and maybe there's some studies or anecdote surrounding that. But beyond that, this is not a good treatment for getting rid of wrinkles ultimately."

"Microcurrent devices or any of these devices that promise you that you'll have a chiseled jawline, I don't think they work. Don't waste your money because they're expensive. If I remember correctly it was like 700 dollars, which is a lot of money. Even if you're getting the cheap ones from Amazon, I don't think they work. Don't waste your money. Anything that promises you anything instant needs to go away and stay in this year and not go forward."
