The reason I go for this is it's encapsulated so you can use it alongside your vitamin C without any issues. Other peptides which aren't encapsulated tend not to like lower pH environments like with vitamin C, so you have to be a little bit more careful. If you just want to take the stress out your peptide game, get an encapsulated peptide and that way you don't have to worry. The encapsulation surrounds that peptide and provides a little bit of a shield. It breaks apart when the encapsulation hits the skin, so it's a more delayed release and the peptides aren't impacted by what's already on the skin."

"This stuff's wonderful. It's a light serum. It helps firm and plump skin. It's got a gellish serumy texture to it. In here we've got really nice ingredients. I would say this one's nice for acne prone skin. It's got some probiotics in there, a couple of them, inulin. It's also got the carnosine peptide, which is an anti-glycation peptide. It's also got the syncol peptide, which is supposed to help produce collagen deep down in skin, which helps with plumping, helps with firmness, all of that good stuff. They've got the argolene and matrixel 3000 peptides. And then it's also got the X50 anti-aging peptide duo. And then it's got the lofasil peptide which helps with expression wrinkles. Really nice product. No scent in it. Wonderful formula."

It's got the carnosine peptide, which carnosine on ingredient list doesn't make it look like a peptide, but it is a peptide. It's great for anti-aging. We've got the sinol peptide, the argolene peptide, Tigep 417 peptide for anti-aging."

"The Medik8 Liquid Peptides Advanced MP is really quite nice for the most part. It's dexmethylone based and it's got matrixyl synthesis. It's got the crystallide peptide which is known for brightening skin up. It's got the synolip peptide, matrixel 3000 and the argireline, botox in a bottle peptide. Fragrance-free. I would say more for dry or dehydrated skin types. If you have oilier skin, it might be a bit on the hydrating side."

"I think this one will do a ton for texture in skin. It will help plump it up, but in terms of long-term texture, you need something different for that. Vitamin C, retinol, azelaic acid, things like that can be more beneficial for the texture, but it does help when you apply it. The texture looks better, but it doesn't have any long-term effectiveness after you rinse it off. But I think if you try this one out and use it for at least 30 days straight, morning and evening, you will notice benefits. This one's going to be friendly for most skin types, including acne prone. For acne prone skin, we only have one ingredient note, and that's polysorbate 20. Pretty friendly for most skin types with the exception of the most extremely extreme sensitive skin because of that polyphenol alcohol. This is a full size 1 oz, 30 milliliters at 66 bucks, so it's a little pricey, but this bottle will last you a while. I've been using it morning and evening for about a month straight, and I've gone through about a third of the bottle. So with morning and evening use, it'll probably last you about two to three months. The texture of it, you don't have to use a lot for it to go a long way. It's quite a nice serum. It works well for most skin types, layers well for plump skin, and works great long-term for wrinkles."

"It's got a watery texture and really easy to fit into most routines. A little bit goes a long way. It absorbs quickly. I haven't been enjoying this, and I've got a couple subscribers that didn't love this one. For peptides, it's got the carnosine peptide, which is a peptide that's not in a lot of things, but you'll see it occasionally. It's a peptide that fights glycation, which is responsible for aging. It's got Matrixyl 3000 duo. It's got the TGO pep 417, which is a peptide that helps with collagen and fibronectin production in your skin. "The other serum that I've been using a ton this year is by Medik8 and it's their Liquid Peptides. Peptides are one of those things in skincare that often feel a bit vague because there are so many different types of peptides, but the reason I like this one from Medik8 is they've really taken the most proven peptides and incorporated them into one serum that to me is relatively affordable for how much goodness is packed into one product. Peptides can do a lot of different things, they can help with collagen production, they can help with fine lines, they can smooth the skin, they can plump the skin, and the blend that is in this particular product I think is really wonderful. I also like that this is a pretty lightweight serum so again it layers well with other products and when I'm thinking about serum steps I just never want my skin to feel heavy or feel weighed down and I never want my products to peel up or ball up on the skin when I apply my sunscreen for example, and this really plays nice with others. The one thing I'll say about this and this is really only if you're like a real stickler for texture is occasionally it feels a bit tacky or like sticky on the skin and some days I'm like oh I don't really love that and other days it really doesn't bother me, but that's just something I think that's worth pointing out."
