"Between these two, I much prefer the texture of the gel serum. I'm just not the biggest fan of oily textures."

"The biggest selling point in this is the vitamin C component. This is an oil-based serum. So if you are not used to or not looking for an oil-based type of serum this might not be for you. I actually like it. I like to use this at night. The serum is so hydrating and just restores my skin and prevents dryness so well. You can see it's a little oily."

"This is one of my all-time favorite THD ascorbate forms of vitamin C by Medik8, it's the C Tetra Luxe. It has 15% or 14% something right around there of the THD ascorbate in it and it has vitamin E in it and some other great antioxidants. What's different about this one is the consistency, this is an oil-based serum, which is much different than what we're used to for typical water-based serums. I actually love to incorporate this one in my routine at night. It's more of a face oil, so it's definitely more like moisturizing. For me, I have more dry skin type, sensitive skin, so putting this oil on my skin at night is so nourishing and so moisturizing, and then when I wake up in the morning my skin just looks so dewy and so hydrated. If you have super oily skin or you're acne prone, you might not love the feel of this on your skin. It is kind of expensive, though this is a brand that goes on sale for 20 to 30% off fairly often, so I would kind of wait and jump on a sale if you can."
