What the gurus are saying

Experts split sharply on these pads. Doctorly finds the Mild version a genuinely good exfoliating option, citing the line's robust reputation and viral popularity. However, another dermatologist rates it a disaster, with no elaboration on what went wrong. Not enough gurus have weighed in yet to know which perspective holds up, so patch-testing first makes sense if you're curious.

"In this product it's water, glycerin as the second ingredient, which I love. But it's got myristic acid, three out of five on the comedogenic scale, so it can clog pores, not really helping with pores. Lauric acid, which is four out of five on the comedogenic scale. Plus it's got fragrance in this product. This product is such a disaster. I don't even know. They didn't even improve the first one. They just made a second terrible one."

"Medicube also has probably the most robust line of exfoliating pads, there's Zero Pore, which is extremely viral. I like the Zero Pore Sensitive or Zero Pore Mild, [...] that's a really good option."
