But I think especially if you're looking for an all-in-one type of cream, and when I say all-in-one, yes, I mean the hydration and moisture, but I also mean that 5% niacinamide. You want your moisturizer to do the most, you want it to brighten up your skin, and you can get a lot of benefit from one product right here just with that niacinamide. "The texture is actually more protective than just a straight up gel moisturizer would be. I really have been enjoying this one. In the warmer weather, when it's hot, when it's humid, when my skin demands lots of refreshing hydration and plumpness and I don't need as much occlusivity, this is going to do really, really nicely. I do notice a little bit more of that moist, dewy, glass skin kind of finish. This is honestly the finish I was kind of expecting. This is the look that a lot of folks have when they take off hydrogel masks. I don't usually get that, but this is actually giving a lot of that glow that I like. Sometimes this finish can be quite tacky and sticky, and I will admit there is a little bit, but it's not that much. The more that it absorbs into my skin, the more that starts to go down. As I've been testing this out, I haven't been finding that to be too sticky, at least not for much longer than like three minutes or so. But I do like the glow that this gives."

"If you have one of the Medicube devices, I love the pink packaging and it is fun to apply it together with the gel and the capsules. The hydration level is pretty good, around a 2.7, and it feels more moisturizing than the plainer options. It is a little expensive, but you should not skip a product just because it is not the cheapest. For my dry, mature skin, and as a gift, I would pick the Medicube capsule cream."

"If you want deeper moisturization, hydration, you take more of the capsules versus the clear cream, and you get almost like an overnight mask depending on how many of those little capsules you use. I really enjoy that. A little bit fiddly. It'll be good if it could come in like two separate pumps. My issue with this cream in particular is that it's just not moisturizing enough. When it initially goes on, it does feel nice and moisturizing. You're like, "Ooh, my skin really enjoys this." It feels moisturized and hydrated. And like an hour later, your skin's feeling tight again. No matter how many of those collagen capsules you've used, it just feels very tight. It's got some great ingredients in which are going to work for your skin. I just feel like this could have been mixed up into a serum and it could have made a nice lighter weight moisturizing kind of serum. It had no negative effect on my skin other than feeling a little bit drier than usual later down the line. If you are very oily, you might actually enjoy this like during summer. This is going to be great for me going into winter, not so much."

"They say despite its rich nature, the texture is lightweight and non-comedogenic. Absorbing easy without heaviness, making it suitable for all skin types, resulting in skin that feels firmer, looks brighter and glows with a hydrated glass skin-like finish. But I find a lot of their products to be quite average, including this one. Whilst it's not like leaving a film on the skin, it feels a little bit sticky on me. I think the gel cream part of it dries down a little bit too quickly for me and it kind of reminds me of an old fashioned gel cream that I would use as a teenager. I think this is nice in summer, warmer months. But for my dry bits I do feel like I need just that little bit extra. It's okay, but it's not bad."

PDRN is just one of the latest buzzwords in cosmetics, very much in the same vein as vitamin C and retinoids, meaning that the specific buzzword ingredient isn't necessarily the gold standard. I would not associate this PDRN formula with the actual PDRN used in Rejuvenex, which is the famous clinical application using salmon sperm DNA. However, that doesn't necessarily mean that what they use has no benefit to the skin. A lot of times there is. The fact is, I would have gotten this and loved this with or without the PDRN on it."
