What the gurus are saying

Gurus surface two concerns about this formula: a safety note and a texture observation. Exfoliating actives in sheet masks can trigger redness and irritation, making a patch test wise beforehand. The formula's thinner consistency compared to a denser Medicube version once reviewed shows the jelly-mask category spans a range, with texture preference likely deciding the fit.

"Sheet masks are supposed to be soothing, but just because of that doesn't mean you can't have adverse reactions from them. Some of these masks have exfoliating ingredients like AHAs or BHAs, or you could just be allergic to the product. If you're putting something on that's an exfoliator, your skin's probably going to get red afterwards, or if you happen to be allergic, you could get some irritation. It's always good to test things out before you put them on your face."

"The Medicube jelly mask I tried out and reviewed earlier this year -- I didn't end up caring for it because it was just a little bit too thick and pasty."
