SuperStay Lumi Matte 30-Hour Foundation.

"The foundation that I brought along with me on the trip, I only brought one and it was one of my new new new faves from the drugstore and it's the Maybelline SuperStay Lumi Matte. This foundation is so great. You can put on like just the tiniest bit of it and really put a really thin coating on just to even out the redness say on your nose or your chin or you can do a full face of it. Either way, it looks great. It is a beautiful looking foundation. And the thing is that when they say it's like 30 hour foundation, I don't know if it is because I haven't slept in it, but it is a minimum 10 to 12 hour foundation. And I struggle with getting foundation to stay on my nose and this one stays. I put this on in the morning, then we go touring around all day, we get back later in the evening, my face still looked good and I didn't have to worry about it. It doesn't get shiny. It doesn't settle in wrinkles and it works great on more mature skin as well."

"My favorite foundation from this year is from the drugstore. It's Maybelline SuperStay Lumi Matte Foundation. This is more of a traditional foundation. I'd say that it is a medium coverage foundation. You can apply it sheer, you can also build it up. It's a very lightweight formula, very fluid, applies really easily, but it's got enough pigment that it's going to go on and really cover up the things that you want to cover up, but without looking like a heavy mask of makeup. It feels really lightweight. It looks fairly natural on the skin. My favorite thing about this is the long wear of this foundation. It wore for 10, 11 hours solid in the places where it always wears off, you know, my nose, my chin, between my brows. It was on solid looking just applied at the end of the day. It has such a beautiful finish. It is lumpy and matte at the same time, so it doesn't accentuate pores. It doesn't accentuate texture, but yet it has that beautiful lit from within glow. Very subtle, but nice and it doesn't get shiny throughout the day."

"The staying power on this is all day and it looked just applied late in the day so I think this is my favorite drugstore foundation right now. But for dry skin people I probably would be less likely to recommend the Maybelline just because it does have SD alcohol high up on the ingredients list. But if that doesn't bother you you could go ahead and give it a try. I don't think it's going to dry out your skin. I didn't feel like it made my skin feel drier or made my skin look drier. I didn't feel like I had skin flakes popping up by the end of the day which some drying foundations will do. It just looks beautiful all day long and I don't really feel like it was drying."

"The foundation I'm wearing today is Maybelline Lumi Matte Superstay. I've been using this for over a year now and I love this. It really lasts, no foundation ever lasts all day on my nose, but this does. It's a lumi matte, so it's not super luminous, but it's not super matte either, it's just right. It's fairly medium to full coverage, so it gives a lot of coverage, but is beautiful on the skin. It smooths the texture of my skin and makes my face look smoother and so much nicer."

"This foundation has a really good shade match right off the bat. It looks really nice sitting on the skin with no problems, no streak marks. The finish is really good and it isn't getting super shiny. I feel like the makeup literally looks just applied after nine and a half hours. There's like zero wear on my nose, zero wear on my chin, zero wear between my eyebrows where I usually get wearing off. It has that nice luminosity that makes your skin look better than it is, less wrinkly, less old, less dry, but it's not a super oily, greasy looking luminosity. It's a very soft luminosity. I don't think I've had a foundation that wears this perfectly for this long since I initially tried the Dior Forever Matte, which is my holy grail foundation."
