What the gurus are saying

Gurus consistently praise this as an exceptional budget vitamin C serum, calling it a top alternative to premium brands like SkinCeuticals at a fraction of the price. The standout appeal is its soothing additives like hyaluronic acid and aloe, which many find more tolerable than straight vitamin C formulas, especially for sensitive skin. The main caveat is that some rosacea-prone or extremely sensitive individuals may still experience irritation from the active L-ascorbic acid.

"May Love Glow Maker, which is also with 15% ascorbic acid, vitamin E, and ferulic acid like the others. This is the most affordable at 30 something bucks. Very nice option."

"My indie pick is the May Love Glow Maker, which is about 33 bucks from May Love. This one's got the trifecta again, 15% ascorbic acid, ferulic acid, vitamin E. Then it also includes grape seed extract. It's fragrance-free and alcohol-free, and I think it's a holy grail for a lot of people. It's really nice and if you haven't tried it, certainly worth giving a whirl."

"This is one of my all-time favorite budget swaps. I get so much good feedback from you guys that it gives you the glowiest look on your skin, and many people can tolerate this even sensitive skin people because of the other additives in it that really soothe the skin. It contains hyaluronic acid, it contains aloe to soothe the skin, some other natural antioxidants. At the end of the day vitamin C serum in the active L-ascorbic acid form can be a little irritating on the skin, so if you are rosacea prone or super super super sensitive you might not be able to tolerate this, but it's a great budget pick that gets such great reviews from you guys."
