What the gurus are saying

Gurus praise Matrixyl 3000 for its lightweight, fragrance-free formula that plays well with other ingredients and suits sensitive or oily skin types. The consensus is that it delivers a temporary tightening effect and smooths static lines, with particular appeal as a standalone treatment or complement to actives like retinol. The main limitation noted is that benefits appear temporary rather than permanent.

"It's a water-like serum, super liquidy, oil-free, and anyone can use it, including people who have really sensitive oily skin because this is literally like water. The main ingredient is peptides, and you get a good concentration of it. It gives you a very tight, snatch look temporarily. The product is affordable in price and it's great. It has good smoothing ability on static lines."

"This is an ingredient that actually plays well with pretty much everything out there, so there's a lot of grace, a lot of flexibility, really easy to add into a routine. The nice thing about this product from Topology is it's actually fragrance free, so if you have sensitive skin it's pretty much going to do well with most people's skin and you're not going to get much irritation or allergy from it. I think it has staying power for a reason. I like it. You can mix and match it into your routine if you want to keep your routine simple, you can stick with your other ingredients. If you want to add this into your routine it's going to mix well and it's going to give you that added benefit. If you're using a retinol, use Matrixyl 3000, it's going to add to decreasing your wrinkles, collagen formation, increasing elasticity in the skin. Or you could just use it on its own if you get irritated by retinol. So it has that ability to really be flexible in your skincare routine."
