What the gurus are saying

The gurus who reviewed it praise this serum as one of the best affordable vitamin C options on the market. The 15% L-ascorbic acid concentration works synergistically with vitamin E and ferulic acid to brighten skin and may help lighten light freckles, and the formula includes soothing botanicals to buffer the irritation that typically comes with vitamin C at its necessary low pH. Those interested may want to apply it in the morning followed by sunscreen, which actually boosts sun protection.

"Vitamin C serums you know we've talked about Maelove Glow Maker, Timeless Niacinamide Vitamin C Complex Serum, and Rock Revive and Glow, those are all great options. And I love that vitamin C serums can lighten light freckles. I always say use it in the morning and then apply your sunscreen after that to protect your skin from oxidative stress you might get from sunlight and pollution, because it does boost the sun protection abilities of sunscreen."

"This is a 15% ascorbic acid containing serum that is by Maelove. This is a nice brand, the Glow Maker, very popular. This one's only $33, guys, so very affordable. It has vitamin E and ferulic acid to work with it synergistically and brighten the skin."

"This is one of the best all-around vitamin C serums that has 15% L-ascorbic acid. It also has vitamin E, it has ferulic acid, it has a few other kind of botanical extracts that are soothing to the skin because vitamin C is very irritating on the skin because it's formulated at a low pH. You need that low pH, but it can be irritating on the skin. I like this formula because it's different enough it soothes the skin with some of the additives in it. This one is $33. I think it's a brand that really never goes on sale. I think you can get it less with bundles, but it's a really reasonable price for such a high quality product."
