"I'm going with soft ochre Paint Pot from Mac. The thing I would always use under eye makeup, depending on skin tone, it'll be constructivist. Paint Pot, Paint Pot, soft ochre, painterly, whatever the skin tone was. Now I do a thin layer and then buff that out, overlapping the concealer. Because I don't want eyeshadow to sit on that concealer at all. Make sure I'm covering like the outside corner of the eye, not [...] under the eye. And then tapping that into the lid."

"The point of eyeshadow primer is to give your eyeshadow something to grip onto, to hold onto. It's meant to be an even layer, a flat, waxier layer for your eyeshadow to grip onto. So what I prefer to do, so we still get this kind of coverage where we neutralize the eyelid, is take a fluffy eyeshadow blending brush and tap a tiny bit into the primer, whatever we're using. I'm using the MAC Paint Pot today because that seems to be everyone's go-to."
