"When you find the perfect shade match, it's like there's nothing else out there like that. Finding the perfect shade match makes you love a foundation whether it's the best foundation formula or not. But this is also an amazing foundation formula. I hate the shape of this because you can't sit the bottle up. It's like an egg shape or something. You can't sit it up. So that sucks. But other than that, it's my only complaint. I would say this foundation is kind of like the Armani that I've loved and loved and loved for years, but with a touch more coverage to it. That's what I love about this. I still love my Armani, but this one is so good."

My Thoughts on 2025's NEW Makeup...

"I'm wearing the shade five which is a really fabulous match for me. I'm trying to pay attention to how this is applying on top of the primer and to be honest I'm not loving it. I feel like it's that thing with some silicone primers where sometimes depending on the foundation it can kind of not mesh well with the foundation. When I use my sponge I can kind of press it together and it starts to look a little less like it's sitting on top of my skin. This is very subtle, obviously you would not notice this unless you're looking up close at my skin, but it's enough for me to notice that they're not meshing super well together."

"The Lisa Eldridge Foundation is actually quite similar to um very Valentino it's a little bit darker and it's got slightly more yeah it's just a little bit darker but you can see that they both have that kind of like yellowy orange shade to them I would be super interested in trying 2.5 um I feel like that would be a much closer match"

"If you haven't tried the brand already, everything released from Lisa Eldridge brand is perfect, absolute perfection. It's kind of expected coming from a makeup artist but there are some brands out there from professional makeup artists where everything isn't like the best. With Lisa Eldridge as a brand, everything seems maybe a little bit gimmicky or like they've tried to release something and be on trend with current releases. Lisa Eldridge has started really well with these beautiful lipsticks and glosses and then built up slowly from there. There's never been a release that seems like desperation or the need to rush something out. Everything seems completely thought through. The eyeshadow palettes where you can move around the shades if you want to make it your own palette, the different textures, different toppers, different types of product and finish all work beautifully together. Everything within the Lisa Eldridge brand is just incredibly stunning."

"I don't hate it, I don't love it though, and I'm so disappointed. I really wanted to love it. It's not going to replace any of my holy grails, and it's probably not going into my top five. The foundation looks beautiful and skin-like when I first apply it, and it's easy to apply with your fingers, brush, or sponge. I love the natural skin-like finish and the sheer to medium coverage. However, it gets shiny throughout the day and doesn't keep its nice satin matte finish, it's really finicky about what you put under and over it, and it can accentuate wrinkles depending on what I put underneath. The wear time is inconsistent, and it's fairly expensive at sixty-two dollars for an ounce. It's been kind of a rollercoaster ride with this one."
