    What the gurus are saying

This balmy highlighter earns praise for its smooth, blendable texture that skips the typical powder finish, a real win if you find traditional highlighters too dry or powdery. Reviewers love how the soft pink shade works across looks, tapping it onto cheekbones and brow bones for a seamless, luminous result that feels both natural and polished.

"This is the elevated glow, the shade that I got because it's what Nicollette used on me. I kind of feel like this is like Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter, but maybe a little bit better. It's not a concealer, it's not really a foundation per se, but it's kind of like a highlighter with a little bit of coverage to it. So I'm just kind of putting it in these areas because I'm a dry skin girly and I've always loved glow."

"I immediately thought I wanted to use a little bit more of a pinky toned highlighter to prep my skin. I'm going to go into this from Lisa Eldridge, this is the Elevated Glow Highlighter, a priming product, and it's in the shade Pink Moon, which is a beautiful light pink shade. I figured we might as well start at our prep step and use something that has a little bit more of a cool tone to it."

    Makeup I’ve Been LOVING 🤩
"I'm just going to take this Lisa Eldridge [...] Elevated Glow highlighter, the shade Pink Moon. It has a little bit of pink in it which I think would be just perfect for this look to kind of tie everything in. I love how that looks."

"I'm just gonna put on some elevated glow highlighter because I use it a lot on the dura's body for the video look. It's a bit more tan than this one but I think this one will look really beautiful. It's such a nice body product as well as face because it's quiet. It's kind of 90 9 skincare as well so it's really lovely."
The PERFECT Barbie Makeup Look 💕
"I wanted to use some more Lisa Eldridge products so this is the seamless skin elevated glow in the shade Pink Moon. I mean come on does that not sound like Barbie? This one has like a little bit of a pink undertone. So this is her elevated glow highlighter. I'm gonna do a bit of this underneath the skin and we'll add some more on top but I kind of want to use it all over once that highlighter has had a chance to kind of set into the skin."

"If you don't like the idea of a balmy highlighter, this is probably your best bet because it's a little bit more serummy. It's got less of that like intense glow. I prefer this because of how it looks. I have been loving this ever since I received it. If you have dry skin, I can't imagine you don't absolutely love this product."

I'M SO EXCITED | Lisa Eldridge Marilyn Monroe Collection 💋
"The Seamless Skin Elevated Glow in Cosmic Rose is a much more liquidy liquid highlight with a soft serum feel. Compared to the balm version, this is much more oily in the best way possible and definitely has a highlight beam. If you don't like a heavier type of product and love the original elevated glow, this might not be for you because it feels more oily and has more of that highlight beam. But if you're looking for something with more balmy texture, it has a silky feel without an overly oily feel, and you get the effect of that Vaseline feel without it feeling heavy. It doesn't feel heavy on the skin and when you pat your cheeks they don't feel wet, but there's hydration and a balm going on. For this skin type, it could be too wet for using as a bronze product, so the reviewer is happy with the other version instead."

    What the evidence says.

Independent of what the gurus think, this is what the published research supports about the main active ingredients here.

    Sunscreen filters

Sun protection is the best evidenced way to slow visible ageing, and the filters are what does the work. Mineral and chemical filters both protect when a product is applied thickly enough and often enough, which is where most people fall short rather than on the choice of filter.
