"My favorite foundation is the Laura Mercier Real Flawless Weightless Perfecting Foundation. I do feel it was overhyped, but I did a five foundation comparison and it absolutely was my favorite. It's formulated for the dryness that comes with maturing skin so it doesn't sink into fine lines, but it does have decent coverage so you have to control how much you apply, and some people call it a bit greasy or oily, so it might not suit oily skin. In my five foundation test it stayed out of the fine lines the most after five hours."

This is a nice light to medium coverage but you honestly can build this up to full, especially if you're using a foundation brush. If you're using a damp beauty blender or damp sponge you will get more of that light coverage. I think this is beautiful. It does give that skin-like finish, so it's not super glowy and dewy but it's also not matte, it's just skin-like. And I really love this. It blends right into my neck perfectly. I've really been enjoying this."

If you're looking for a foundation that doesn't feel heavy, that doesn't look makeup-y, you can build this up to a full coverage, and of course you can sheer this out to a light coverage if you're using a damp beauty sponge. [...] I do like to use a makeup brush, like a foundation brush, because this is very liquidy so a damp sponge will just absorb all of that foundation. This also provides your skin with that natural finish so it truly just looks like your skin, which I absolutely love in a foundation.
