Teint Idole Ultra Wear Foundation.

"The Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Wear Foundation is my perfect foundation in every aspect. It feels like nothing on the skin, is easily buildable to full coverage, but never makes the face look flat or lifeless and stays put the whole day even without relying on a primer or setting spray. One thin layer evens out the skin and looks as if I am barely wearing anything. Two thin layers are enough to cover redness and pigmentation, and I can get it to full coverage with a third layer, which still layers well and stays comfortable to wear throughout the day. Ten hours later it still hadn't settled into my lines or pores and my face still looked more even than before, so I am more than happy with the results. Could it take the shine down a little more? Yes, but I forgive that minor flaw as it never settles into my lines and pores, something most mattifying foundations do, and it is hydrating enough to not cling to dry patches, but not that hydrating that it would slide off in the heat of summer. If your skin is very oily, you might want to try something more mattifying, but for everyone else it should work very well."

"My go-to foundation for events, weddings, etc. has been the Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra Wear. This is the one with the matte finish. I thought I wouldn't like a matte finish foundation because I wanted things to look glowy, but it's not that matte, it's just skin-like. It's beautiful. It is so long-wearing, and that's the other thing I think is so important to me when it comes to foundation. I need it to hold up. If I'm putting on foundation, I need it to last, be consistent, not be breaking up on my face. This has SPF 25. I'm not using it for its sunscreen benefits at all. I love how creamy this is. I use either a beauty blender or foundation brush, and I like that it stays wet enough that you have time to work it into the skin, but then it dries down completely. This is my go-to when I need medium to full coverage. It builds really nicely."

"I like this a lot, especially that it really smoothed my skin. In the sunshine test and the flash photo in a darkened room test, my skin looks so smooth and so perfected. I really was like wow I love it. However, I don't love the shade I bought it in. I think I need to go back and get a different shade. The other thing that I didn't love about it is that you kind of had to throw a lot of helpers at it to get it to work right, to get it to really last. In order to get it to last for 10 solid hours looking good, I had to add primer or setting spray or setting powder to it. So it just needed a lot of helpers."
