"The Lancôme Advanced Génifique Eye Cream is a super lightweight smoothing eye cream that hydrates under eye and helps makeup sit a little bit nicer. It feels really nice, it's gentle, it brightens the look of the area in that really soft cosmetic type of way. This one is more targeted than you would expect. It does have caffeine which will help vasoconstrict and help with some of the puffiness and dark circles, and it also has beta glucan to help visibly address skin damage and enoxalone, which is a really nice soothing ingredient. But look at that price per ounce because this is where prestige eye cream starts to lose me just a little bit. You're paying a lot of money for that tiny little jar. While it's perfectly nice, an eye cream is really not going to erase your dark circles or true structural puffiness. If you have true puffy under eyes, that's probably a surgical job. The eye cream may help a little bit. So is it worth a pretty penny? I'm not convinced."

"I love that bifida ferment filtrate ingredient, but unfortunately I really can't use the Lancome brand. I've got it narrowed down to the fragrance blend they use in all of their products, which contains my allergens. It's not necessarily a bad thing, a lot of brands use a signature scent to prevent counterfeiting, but if you're allergic to that fragrance blend it sure does ruin the whole brand for you. I know a lot of people love Lancome though."
