"It's a mattifying moisturizer. It's got silica in there and silica is great at soaking up and absorbing excess oil on the skin. So if you suffer from oily skin, this might be a nice moisturizer to use during your daytime routine and under sunscreens. It's also got niacinamide, which is an acne fighting ingredient. It's got ceramide and sodium hyaluronate. It's a pretty short ingredient list, but it is fragrance-free and really nice product for summer or for using underneath maybe a thick sunscreen or something like that."

"Underneath certain mineral sunscreens, I found this to pill, but not under a lot of chemical ones, but certain mineral sunscreens that are thick can end up peeling. I recommend this all the time for people with oily or acne-prone skin. It still brings hydration, still protects the skin barrier, but it just absorbs that oil. It has ceramides and niacinamide to help regulate oil production, plus perlite and silica which are oil-absorbing molecules. When you apply it, it feels great, spreads well, it dries matte, and is just overall very hydrating despite the fact that it doesn't leave you with that very dewy look. I think it leaves you neutral. It's also good for wearing during the daytime because you can apply makeup over it more smoothly than other options. This is a top recommendation if you have a retinoid in your routine because it does not have hyaluronic acid, and I do not like to use moisturizers with hyaluronic acid alongside retinol or retinoids because it can increase irritation for some people. It's hard to find a moisturizer without hyaluronic acid, and this one in both the cream and gel version do not have that. This will be barrier repairing, barrier strengthening, and moisturizing."
