What the gurus are saying

Melasyl looks great in the research, yet the takes split on whether it shows up on real skin. Some saw no results at all, even with samples and full sizes, and say skip it for now. Others say it can work if you tolerate it, perhaps twice a day, and since the brand's sunscreen has it too, sunscreen by day with serum at night is reasonable.

"I was really excited about the new Melasyl ingredient, and the research results look great. But when I and my patients tried it, including samples and full sizes, we saw no results. I was very disappointed by the real-world results, so I would say skip it for now."

"I really do think that the serum if you can tolerate it will get you results to you know better perhaps if used twice a day that being said the sunscreen has micil in it so if you use a sunscreen in the morning and the serum at night I think that's also reasonable to do"
