"La Roche-Posay has reformulated their Mela B5 pigment control product and it's quite good. It's got glycolic acid which can help exfoliate the skin and improve the rate of clearance of hyperpigmentation, it has tranexamic acid and kojic acid, and both of those are great for hyperpigmentation. It also has lipohydroxy acid, a modified form of salicylic acid, that exfoliates the skin a bit more precisely. This product may be irritating, and if it causes you too much irritation it's not worth pushing forward with it just for the sake of using it. It's not inexpensive at forty dollars, that's pretty pricey, but you don't need a lot of it, just a few drops spread on the skin well to create a thin film."
